About Me

I am Clare and I live with my 4 children. Holly was born in 2009, Joe 2012 and Max and Sam 2015. I worked as a Graphic Designer until Max and Sam were born prematurely. When the boys were 2 I started working a couple of days a week Sainsbury's while my children were at school and playgroup . Over the last couple of years I have also looked after my niece and nephew after school and nursery, they were born in 2017 and 2019. Now my children are older I am looking forward to using all my experience with children to look after more little ones.

About the setting
Lounge/diner -The children will have use of the lounge/diner. All the toys are resources are in here. Arts and crafts and eating will take place here.

Garden - The lounge/diner opens onto a decking area for outdoor play, which has a sun sail for shade in spring/summer. There is also a large grass area.

Sleep - There is space for travel cots upstairs, bedrooms have blackout blinds. There is a large porch that fits a double buggy, so children can continue sleeping inside if we have been out. There are also sleep mats for downstairs and the lounge/diner has blinds and blackout curtains.Toilet - There is a downstairs toilet that the children can use

Outings
We shall go out every day. We live right next to the wide open space of Earlswood lakes which is great for walks and looking as the ducks. We are also very close to a play park and a pond. We will meet up with other childminders and we will go for picnics, toddler groups and other local parks. The cost of this will be included in the fees. Other activities may incur an extra charge but I will notify you and ask permission for these.

Holidays
As I work term time only most of my holiday will be in school holidays. But I will give you 4 weeks notice if I wish to take any more days. If you should take holiday, then the full amount should still be paid, this also applies if you take your child out for a single day.

Sickness
If your child is sick, full fees will still be charged. If I am sick, there is no charge.

Payment
Payments are to be made in advance. Payments are to be made via bank transfer. The first invoice will be given before the start date, thereafter you will receive it on 28th of the month to be received by the 1st of the month. If payment is late there is a £5 daily charge.

What you will need to provide
• sun cream and a sun hat
• appropriate footwear
• hats/gloves scarf in cold weather
• baby formula/bottles
• comfort toy/blanket
• medication if required
• anything else you think your child might require
• packed lunch and snacks
