About Me

I am looking for a tutor for my year 8 daughter. She is very bright but has been diagnosed in the last 12 months with Autism and ADHD (inattentive). She masks expertly at school and behaviour is exceptional. Her SAT results were points off being greater depth (we had a tutors help for this also) but being predicted 4-6 in GCSE and finding it difficult to concentrate she is in disruptive classes and her results are falling. It’s hit her academic confidence quite hard and I don’t want her to lower her own expectations. I would prefer the tutor to come to our home as she doesn’t interact well on zoom etc. She needs help to motivate herself for homework so me doing work with her is an absolute no no and causes huge friction.
