About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I’m 27 and I completed my studies at the University of Gloucestershire in June 2023, where I achieved a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Working with Children, Young People & Families.

I currently work as a Family Support Worker for the local authority, supporting children, young people and families within the community. I really enjoy my role and find it incredibly rewarding to build positive relationships with families, provide support when needed, and help children and young people feel happy, safe and confident.

I also have two young nephews, aged 7 and 2, who I regularly care for and spend time with. Being around them has given me valuable personal experience of caring for children at different stages of their development. I also enjoy spending time with my wider family and friends.

I am passionate about working with children and young people and love seeing them happy, settled and making progress. I particularly enjoy being able to support children in reaching their individual milestones and helping families feel supported.

I am reliable, caring, patient and approachable, and I understand the importance of safeguarding and creating a safe, positive environment for children and young people.

I also hold a current DBS and am registered on the DBS Update Service.
