My Summary
About Me
I am a qualified Primary School teacher who decided to change my career to childminding after the birth of my second son. My passion has always been helping children learn, grow, and thrive, and becoming a childminder has allowed me to combine my professional experience with the warmth of a home-from-home environment.
I provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where every child is encouraged to develop at their own pace through play, creativity, and exploration. With my teaching background, I enjoy supporting children's early learning and development while ensuring they feel happy, secure, and valued. I work closely with families to provide the highest standard of care and to help every child reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working in both mainstream and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) schools. Throughout my career, I have supported children with a wide range of abilities and individual needs, creating inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environments. My teaching experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and how to help every child reach their full potential. I bring this wealth of knowledge and experience into my childminding setting, ensuring each child receives high-quality care, learning opportunities, and personalised support.
