I am 25 years old, originally from England, now living in Prestwick, South Ayrshire. I enjoy to bake and decorate cakes as well as gardening, craft activities and going for walks.
My Experience
I have been gaining experience with children for several years now, starting when I acquired a BTEC level 3 in Children’s play, learning and development (Early Years Educator) with a triple D*D*D*. For this I carried out placements in toddler, pre-school and primary school settings. I am also a qualified Girlguiding Rainbow leader, which I have been volunteering with for more than 7 years.
I have experience with children from newborn and beyond, and can easily adapt to each environment I am in, and each child I work with.
My Qualifications
Children’s Play, Learning and development(Early Years Educator)- D*D*D*
Bakery and Patisserie Technology- Bachelor of Science with honours first class
Maths- B
English Language- B
I am currently doing a level 2 course in understanding autism.
My Availability
I am available 7 days a week.

- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

Katie has been providing childcare for our 2 daughters aged 11 and 7. She is just amazing. So much so my girls ask the next time she's coming as soon as she leaves. She is so kind, caring, patient, enthusiastic and we feel so comfortable with Katie looking after our girls. She is the 1st person outwith our family and would highly recommend to any family. She caters to the individual needs of each girl.

Katie watched our 6 month old son while we went to a wedding. She was on time, asked great questions, was very comfortable around him and gave us great peace of mind that he was in great hands.
Our son was not used to being away from us and definetly gave her a bit of a tough time but she pushed through and manged to get him to sleep. She was responsive and gave us updates throughout the day! Thanks so much watching our son, sorry he was not great for you! All the best!

I highly recommend Katie. It was the first time we had a babysitter for our two young daughters and Katie put us at ease immediately. She was very professional, caring and friendly. It is clear she has a lot of patience for children and loves her job. The girls had a great time with her and we will definitely be contacting her again!
