About Me
Having worked in childcare all my life, I previously owned and ran the successful Bumbles Play Cafe in Twickenham, and I have now changed direction to set up Bumbles Childminders. I work as a sole childminder.
I am registered with a Childminding Agency I have just been graded "GOOD" in my first inspection.
I have been working as a childminder for a year and a half from my home near Twickenham Green and have 35 years experience as a qualified Nursery Nurse.
I am really enjoying childminding and Early Years is my passion. I particularly enjoy having the freedom to explore our lovely local area and groups.
I offer tax free and am also registered for funding for 3 & 4 year olds.
My Experience
I have enjoyed a 35 year career as a trained Nursery Nurse and I have worked extensively with the under five age group.
My career has seen me work as a Nursery Nurse, day nursery manager, night nanny, and a private day nanny in Cambridgeshire, Paris and London.
I am a qualified NVQ level 3 nursery nurse, as well as holding paediatric first aid, enhanced DBS and food hygiene certificates.
I live in Twickenham with my husband and two children, the eldest of whom is at University, and the youngest attends a local school.
My Qualifications
NVQ3 in childcare and education.
Registered and qualified childminder.
Paediatric first aid.
Safeguarding level 3.
Extensive and ongoing CPD training in areas such as cultural capital, schemers, FGM and mental health in early years.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday 0800-1800.
Closed Fridays.
