Hi, my name is Cody! I'm 26 years old, married, and a proud step-parent to an 11-year-old. I’ve dedicated my life to helping children, with over 10 years of professional experience in both nursery and private nanny roles. My passion for this work comes from my own childhood experiences from foster care, and it’s what drives me to create a safe, engaging, and loving environment for every child I care for.

My Experience
I am a highly experienced and patient childcare professional with a genuine love for helping children thrive. Over the last decade, I've had the privilege of supporting children from infancy through school age, including twins and children with special educational needs (SEN) like autism and ADHD.
I believe in a childcare approach centred on respect, empathy, and positive reinforcement. I love to use the Montessori approach to guide children toward independence and a natural curiosity for learning. I believe in teaching good manners and kindness while also making sure every day is filled with fun and enriching activities. For example, I love teaching children to do things for themselves, like putting on their own shoes and coats, which helps them build confidence.
I also love the outdoors. I regularly organise trips and activities that get children out of the house and into nature, whether it's a visit to a local park, the zoo, or a National Trust site.
My experience includes:
* Sole-charge care for twins and children with SEN, including ADHD.
* Planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities, such as sensory play and cooking.
* Creating a safe and stimulating environment that supports the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Managing daily routines, including school pickups and drop-offs, meal preparation, and tidying up.
My Qualifications
* Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
* Level 3 in Paediatric First Aid
* Safeguarding Children certificate
* DBS-checked and verified
* Full UK driving license with my own car

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
