Reviews I've Written

She was nice in the beginning but rejected my son because of his special needs. Its been almost two years now and I still feel sad/broken about that. My son attended less than two weeks at her setting. I saw the body language and discussions.
I decided to start searching on this platform again not knowing she already informed few minders about me. Two different minders replied to ask why I'm changing settings so soon. I wonder how they knew, then I discovered she told the local minders about me which I found weird, unkind and unnecessary. I explained the situation to a lovely minder who advised me on how to navigate my situation. She could have just communicated that and not just rejected and not keeping things confidential. I'm so glad my son is getting all the help and support he required since that time. Some things just never go away.

Thank you for leaving me a review after 2 years it's much appreciated, I take on board all the reviews my parents leave me & my setting, so I'm able to learn and improve from this.

We agreed a trial period of 2 weeks to see if I was able to support all the needs of your son and 3 other children, I did try to contact the local authorities for support but they didn't get back to me before the trial had ended, I should have communicated this too you. I tried to support your son as best as I could by taking him for walks, playgroups, reading stories and fixing puzzles.

The body language that you were seeing was, me not be able to communicate to your son how to stay safe because of his special needs, not to run across the roads, keep away from water when taking a walk near lakes, staying in sight of me, from this I realised that I would find it difficult to support the needs of all children in care if he had joyed my setting.

I would never contact another childminder about another child warning them, at the time I wasn't even in contact with no other childminders, I'm not sure what you mean, this would not benefit me in anyway.
