About Me
Hi, I’m Daya.
I’ve grown up in a very busy, child-friendly household all my life. I’ve got two younger siblings and my mother has always been a childminder who works from home. I am very comfortable around children and families and love teaching and playing. I am currently living with my three best friends and our cat and studying Business management at university. I’m not sure what I would like to do in the future but music event management is one of my biggest interests currently. In my free time I’m learning to DJ and love music, I hang out with my girlfriends a lot and love going out for food.
My Experience
Working as a babysitter either in my own home or out at other families' homes includes overnight care and daycare. I enjoy these and have experience in feeding and putting children to bed.
Working in a childcare setting with my mother was a regular occurrence for me and again I enjoyed it. Helping to look after children from 6 months to 5 years and as many as 7/8 at a time is manageable for me. I enjoyed helping with crafting, learning and building activities.
I worked at a snow centre local to my home, there I was a children's party host. This included being in charge and responsible for groups of Children aged 4-14 of up to 15+ at a time, with one other person. We showed them safety routines, took them sledging, hosted a party with food and drinks afterwards and provided entertainment.
