About Me
I'm a mum to two young children and am about to return to teaching (part time) at Oxford Brookes University when my husband starts his studies to become a vicar. We will be moving to Oxford from Gosport towards the end of September 2026.
We have a very friendly dog. We love the outdoors and adventure. Our two children (who will be 3 and 1) enjoy our caravan holidays and the outdoors.
My Requirements
We are looking for a part-time childcare option for around 18-20 hours per week (mostly term-time only but would ideally need cover during half terms), ideally where both our children can be together. The core hours would need to be 0800/0830-1400 on Tuesdays and Thursdays to cover my teaching. Ideally, all the hours would be on those two days but for the right person/fit we could flex the other hours. Our preference is someone who is self-employed who may also be able to offer ad hoc babysitting so our children already have a relationship with you. This is the set-up we have currently (but only for one day a week as our eldest has been in nursery 3 days a week) and it works well.
Our youngest is crawling, cruising and is very active. Our eldest is a curious toddler who likes to think things through first. She loves horse riding, swimming, rock climbing and caravan holidays. We are looking for the right fit for our family to help us as we nurture our children and help them to flourish.
