About Me

Hi! I’m 22 years old and a qualified childcare practitioner, currently working as a room leader and SENCO. I’m caring, patient and reliable, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, happy and supportive environment for children. I especially enjoy supporting children with additional needs and adapting care to suit each child individually.

I’m available for childcare within the Mid Ulster area and would be happy to chat with families about their individual childcare needs ?

My Experience

I have around 6 years of experience within childcare settings, working with children of different ages and abilities. I currently work as a childcare practitioner and have experience supporting children with additional needs, including autistic children. My experience includes planning activities, supporting routines and development, managing behaviour positively and providing individualised care.

My Qualifications

I hold Level 2, Level 3 and Level 3 Extended Diplomas in CCLD, as well as a GCSE in Child Development. I also have additional training in Autism Awareness, SEND, children’s mental health, safeguarding, child protection, paediatric first aid, first aid, EpiPen/anaphylaxis awareness, food hygiene and fire safety. I also have an enhanced AccessNI check.

My Availability

I currently work in a childcare setting Tuesday–Thursday, with some Fridays also required. My main availability at present is Mondays, with occasional Friday availability depending on my work schedule. Availability may change in the future, so please feel free to message me to discuss dates and availability
