My Requirements

Over the holidays we're looking for childcare about 5-6 hours a day, potentially four days week, but flexible on days and times. Often it will be with just one of the children as they nap at different times - Magnus has two naps either side of Attie's one midday nap! It might also be co-care with me... I like to take them to Hawks gym, for example, but they both need one on one adult supervision so I need an extra pair of hands. If it works okay, we could try sole care for both of them, but me or my partner will be on hand if needed. Also Magnus is still feeding so we don't part for too long.They both love to be outside and we are keen on Montessori and forest school philosophies. Attie is building up to potty training so help with that would be great. She has down syndrome but it doesn't impact her care needs much. Engaged one on one play with repetition helps her learn new skills. Her pronunciation might need a bit of attuning to (but also she's 2, so often the case anyway!). And she needs slightly more spotting on play equipment than a neurotypical child... I think they're the key differences. Generally, her mobility and language are great. We are looking for holiday care and potentially someone on Monday afternoon/ Friday morning from September. We live in BS7 9NG and would be great to meet up if you think we could be a fit.
