About Me
Hello, my name is Beth, I am an ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Whitley bay with my partner Dan, who is my assistant, and our 5 children aged 20, 17, 15, 6 and 4. We also have 2 very cute young cats called Mango and Biggie and a golden retriever called Missy.
We pride ourselves on our setting being a fun filled, home from home, environment with a real family feel.
Our home has a dedicated playroom with a lovely reading corner, role play area, lots of toys and home comforts. We also have a garden with artificial grass that we can use all year round.
In a typical day we visit local toddler groups, stay and play sessions and classes together. Spend time at home doing arts and crafts, messy play and lots of free play, and enjoy lots of time outdoors, exploring and adventuring in nature, at the beach and in our lovely parks. We also visit the aquarium and local farms.
My Experience
20 years experience as a mother and 14 years professional experience including working as a teaching assistant within early years and with children with SEN, working in a SEMH school and working for the local authority as a residential worker for looked after children.
Dan has also has experience of working within residential children’s homes and worked for children’s services before he joined me.
My Qualifications
- Level 3 supporting children in learning and education
- Introduction to childminding (level 3)
- Paediatric first aid
- Safeguarding children
- Attachment theory training
-language and communication training
- food hygiene
My Availability
Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 5:30, however please contact me if you need flexibility with these times.
*Drop off and pick ups from Marine Park First School.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Full day 7:30 - 5:30 = £65 including breakfast and snacks
Before school/nursery 7:30-9am = £10 including breakfast
After school/nursery 3:30-5:30 = £15 including snack
Children are to bring their own packed lunch.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Marine Park First School
