About Me
I am an experienced babysitter and nanny with over six years of experience and experience with special needs children and children under 12 months. I am studying at the University of Southampton so looking for babysitting jobs mainly but this is negotiable.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for the last six years, I have experience with two special needs children from different families (developmental disabilities and genetic mutation related disabilities) and children under the age of 12 months as well as children up to the ages of twelve.
On my gap year I was a nanny for six months for one of the families mentioned above, who had a special needs child - I really enjoyed my time there and still babysit on occasion. I was very proud to be the first nanny they allowed to care for the children overnight.
I am confident changing nappies, getting children ready for bed including bath time and brushing teeth, as well as helping feed the children at dinner. I have experience safely driving the children to and from school and helping with homework.
My Qualifications
While I don’t have formal nannying qualifications, I am experienced with long days (12 hours+) and I have eight GCSE’s as well as three A-levels including: History, Drama and Business, in which I achieved three As. I am currently studying for a degree in business and entrepreneurship at the university of Southampton.
