My Experience

2019 - 2023
Scallywags day nursery & pre-school :
This was my main full time job from 2019-mid 2023. I started my work here as a 16 year old apprentice, helping out in all 3 rooms (babies, toddlers & preschool).
Whilst in the pre-school room i had lots of opportunities looking after children with autism. I spent lots of 1:1 time with a few children helping me gain knowledge and experience.
I obtained my Level 2 childcare certificate in 2021
Not long after, i was made one of the room leaders of the baby room (aged 5 months - 2 years).
i then became Room leader of mini pre-school (aged 2-3 years) which was my last role in scallywags.
2023-25
Nestots & current jobs
Once moved on from above nursery, i wanted a new opportunity to show my skills so became a practitioner at a new nursery. I was based in the toddler room. (2-3 years)
Whilst there, i got the chance to become a part time nanny for 2 boys i looked after in my first nursery for just over a year.
I also took care of a 1 year old girl in the mornings taking her to different clubs/classes and little outings.
I now work in a nursery again 4 days a week as a standard practitioner. I would absolutely love to get back into private childcare, it’s something i’m super passionate in and I felt extremely confident in my past role as a nanny.

My Qualifications

Childcare early years level 2
First aid certification
I also have lots of training certificates that can also be provided e.g safe guarding, mental health, supporting SEN etc.

My Availability

I have an 8 week notice period for my current job which i’d be willing to give asap. My availability would then be all weekdays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)

My nannying rate is a *set rate* of £18 p/h however any babysitting jobs can be negotiated depending on what time/days i’d be sitting. I usually start from £13 p/h.
