Hello, I am Jessica and I’m an outstanding Ofsted registered childminder. I received this accreditation in November 2023. Bumblebee's home nursery is located in Gamlingay. I accept government funding from 9 months old.
My Experience
I previously was a primary school teacher and have loved teaching a range of ages. Since then, I have completed a Diploma course for Home Based Childcare to ensure that my knowledge and current training is up to date for the Early Years Framework.
I then went on to train to become an Early Years Educator. I love engaging young minds with a variety of different activities with an open ended approach. The children are free to explore both independent and led activities to make discoveries and enrich their understanding of the world around them.
Bumblebees Home Nursery is a home from home. A stone's throw away from a country park, play park and the local primary school. I provide a child centered learning experience with daily outings including playgroups, country parks, the RSPB and library visits. There is outside learning everyday in the garden, come rain or shine! I provide a nutritious breakfast and a range of healthy snacks at snack time. We also do a school run twice a day to the local primary school and nursery.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8 per hour to include breakfast, snacks and outings or £80 per day.

Charlie has settled with Jess and the other children quicker and better than we could have expected considering previous childcare experiences, Charlie has grown in confidence, developed his sounds, his all round communicating in a short space of time. Jess provides advice away her setting and provides us easy access to any extra information we may need, it the perfection example of how this should be good, Charlie has made new friends and is even asking if it’s Monday yet so he can go again, the trips out are constant and varied and care is taken into his diet, hygiene and we appreciate all of this. Jess is providing a premium service and clearly loves the children aswell as the job. A brilliant lady and Charlie agrees. We are gutted it will end.

Thomas has settled in to Jessica care, with a great happiness. Its lovely to see him smiling when we arrive for drop off, I don’t have to worry about him as I get updated through the app. His never sad or upset when there.
Thomas enjoys playing Archie and sharing his toys, going out on adventure to our local wild life areas also playing at his local play group, I feel that Thomasis very happy and content with Jessica and their route they have.
