Hello, I am Paige. I am a very happy and enthusiastic individual and I love being organised in my day to day work and home life. I really enjoy cooking and cook most things from scratch!
I have experience in being a nanny for a year and a half and I am currently working in a nursery as a Room Manager. I have worked in a previous for 5 years prior to my first nannying role. I have experience with all ages of children. I currently babysit for a family every Wednesday evening, so won’t be available 7pm onwards.
My Experience
I have a Level 2 and 3 NVQ Childcare Qualification, which I gained my through my apprenticeship while working at the nursery. I have done many other training courses while being at work such as Prevent Duty, FGM, Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and others. I was also a Healthy and Safety Officer within my nursery which I enjoy doing and learning about. I am also DBS checked!
Before I worked in a nursery I used to work in a Crèche at Virgin Active, which I loved! So, I have experienced in working with children from 8 months to 10 years old. I did sports activities and swimming with the older children and then playing with the little ones. When I started my job at my current nursery I started in the Teenie room with children aged 1-2 1/2 years old and now work with children aged 2-3 1/2 years old. I enjoy setting up a variety of different fun, exciting and educational messy, sensory and story themed trays to help support children with their development. I have been on many trips with the children at work and this is something I love to do and explore new places. With my nannying role I looked after 2 boys aged around 2-4 years old. I did this role for a year and a half.
My Qualifications
Level 2 and 3 NVQ Childcare Qualification.
English Grade C and a pass in Maths when doing my apprenticeship.
