Hello, my name is Skye and I live in Mistley, Manningtree with my other half Alex and my two little girls. Here at Skye’s Childminding we love messy play, a walk to the park or woods and lots of free play.
My aim is to create a home away from home for your littles ones.
I recived GOOD rating from ofsted in September 2025 and have been doing Childminding’s for 2 years.
My Experience
I have worked as a school photographer working with different aged children within many different schools and after going onto maternity I decided to finally make the leap into caring for children and going into childminding.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate, Level 3 home-based childcare qualification, level 2 food hygiene and safety, Speech and language and safeguarding qualifications

I am available Monday - friday 8:00AM- 17:00PM

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour

Skye has been amazing with my daughter Mia. I had never left her with anyone before, but Skye made me feel so comfortable straight away with her kind and welcoming nature. Mia absolutely loves being with her and always comes home happy, confident, and settled. Mia’s confidence is growing and it’s lovely seeing how much she’s learning through the activities Skye plans. I really appreciate all the photos and updates during the day and Skye is always so quick to respond if I have any questions. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Skye has been unbelievable. I used to take my daughter to a nursery and wouldn't think twice about taking her anywhere other than Skye's. She's so attentive to my daughter's and the other children's needs focusing on their learning progression in sensory and speaking skills, motor skills. Providing a nurturing environment where the children all get along and have fun while learning.
Skye keeps all the parents updated about everything from naps, lunches, adventurous days out, health and wellbeing, what they learnt new that day; and always responds as fast as possible.
I can not fault her in anyway, and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Skye looked after my little from 10months old and she was so lovely, she listen to everything that I asked and kept to my same routine. Skye was always so caring and did so much with the children. I always had lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. Thoroughly recommend.
