My wife and I have three fantastic kids, aged 1, 6 and 10, and live in Chelmsford. We both work part time to spend more time with the kids - whether that's playing in Admirals Park on our doorstep, going on days out, or just messing around with Lego. But there are a couple of days when our work overlaps and we are looking for childcare
My Requirements
We're looking for a part time nanny for after school and evening care on a Wednesday and Thursday (roughly 2-7) which we'd want to extend to full days (Wed and Thurs) during school holidays. For the right nanny we may have a bit of flexibility over precise hours, days and start date. Ideally the start date would be early September.
Predominantly the role would be looking after our 6 year old who has Downs Syndrome - who, although young for his age, is affectionate, super active.and energetic, communicative (lots of Makaton and increasingly verbal) and loves Magna-Tiles! From time to time the role may also involve looking after the 10 year old (normally in after school music or sport clubs) and 1 year old (e.g collecting from day nursery).
What might the role include? Playing in the garden, going to the park, prepping and giving meals, doing homework with Rohan, reading, a bit of light tidying /organising for kids' stuff, dancing to music, days out...and hopefully other fun things!
