About Me
We are a warm, busy family looking for kind and capable support in our home from mid July. I’m currently on maternity leave with our second baby, and my husband works long hours in London. We don’t have family support nearby, so having the right person alongside us would make a huge difference to our day-to-day life.
We have two boys: Freddie is 3 and Finn is nearly 7 months old.
Freddie is home all day on Tuesdays alongside myself and Finn and I really would love an extra set of hands / someone I can leave the baby with for a couple of hours so I can have 1-on-1 time with Freddie.
This role would suit someone calm, experienced with babies and toddlers, and confident stepping into a busy household with warmth and initiative.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a warm, reliable and experienced mother’s helper to join our family on Tuesdays from 9am–7:30pm. Would also be open to help on Thursdays from 12-6pm.
The role is primarily to provide support with our 7-month-old baby, who is predominantly breastfed, although we do offer one or two bottles each day. He has also recently started weaning, so experience with (or confidence around) introducing solids would be a real plus. Baby first aid training would also be highly desirable.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable:
* Following his cues and routine.
* Playing and engaging with him.
* Changing him.
* Helping to settle him for naps.
A big part of the morning will be caring for the baby so I can spend some dedicated one-to-one time with my toddler—taking him out for an activity or a little coffee date together. In the afternoon, I’d love you to take my toddler to the park for an hour or so, giving me some quiet time at home with the baby.
During quieter moments, some light household help would also be appreciated, such as:
* Folding and putting away laundry.
* Keeping play areas tidy.
* Simple meal preparation if needed.
This isn’t a housekeeping role—the priority is being an extra pair of hands with the children and bringing a calm, kind and positive presence into our home.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with babies and toddlers. If this sounds like something that would suit you, we’d love to hear from you.
