About Me
We are a warm, busy family looking for kind and capable support in our home from the end of March. I’m currently on maternity leave with our second baby, and my husband James works long hours in London. We don’t have family support nearby, so having the right person alongside us would make a huge difference to our day-to-day life.
We have two boys: Our toddler is nearly 3 (in nursery all day Wednesday & Thursday) and a 10 week old (exclusively breastfed)
Our toddler is home on Tuesdays and Friday mornings. Wednesdays are baby-only during the day while our toddler is at nursery. Tuesdays are our busiest day with both boys at home.
This role would suit someone calm, experienced with babies and toddlers, and confident stepping into a busy household with warmth and initiative.
My Requirements
The primary need is support with the baby — although he is exclusively breastfed, I would love someone who can:
• Take him between feeds so I can properly rest or reset
• Help soothe, change, wind and settle him
• Be comfortable with newborn care and cues
There will also be some support with our toddler, particularly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and occasionally after nursery on Thursdays.
Light household support would also be appreciated, such as:
• Folding and putting away laundry
• Keeping play areas tidy
• Very simple meal prep if needed
This is not a heavy housekeeping role — the priority is being an extra pair of hands with the children and bringing calm, steady energy into the home.
