About Me
Hi, I’m Abi, I am 24 years old and looking to find a weeknight babysitting role.
I am working for the NHS as an Education Well-being Practitioner. We support children and families with various mental health challenges within the school setting. I also have experience of working with secondary school children with special educational needs. I have an enhanced DBS check.
I am an enthusiastic and sociable person and love interacting with children. I would be more than happy to engage in activities you want for your child/children like reading, doing arts and crafts, playing games or supporting with homework. I also enjoy cooking. Creating a safe and positive environment for the child/children I am working with is really important to me!
My Experience
After graduating from university I started working in a secondary school supporting children with special educational needs. While the role was predominantly 1:1, I also ran small groups to support wellbeing and key skills, like handwriting. I enjoyed working with the children and allowing them to be creative within a safe space, keeping them happy and engaged.

Degree in Psychology
Post graduate diploma for my Education Mental Health Practitioner Qualification
My Availability
I work full time so will be predominantly available weekday evenings but will have some availability at weekends.
