Hi! I'm Erika, I'm 30 years old and originally from Slovenia, now living in Brighton and Hove.
I'm a kind, patient, caring and responsible person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I have previous experience working in a nursery, being an aupair - looking after children of different ages.
Although I have since pursued a career in HR and administration, I've always enjoyed working with children and would love to continue babysitting alongside my professional career.
I'm reliable, organised and attentive to children's individual needs. I enjoy creating a fun, positive and safe environment where children feel comfortable and happy. Whether it's playing games, helping with homework, preparing meals or following bedtime routines, I'm always happy to help.
I always do my best to make sure children are happy, comfortable and well looked after, so parents can feel reassured while they're away.

My Experience
I have plenty of experience looking after children, starting from a young age when I used to take care of my cousins' children. I later worked in a nursery for three years, which gave me valuable experience caring for children of different ages and understanding their individual needs.
I also spent three years working as an au pair, gaining further hands-on experience with everyday childcare routines and responsibilities.
Being around children has always felt very natural to me. It's something I'm familiar with, genuinely enjoy and feel very comfortable doing! :)
My Qualifications
I have several years of hands-on childcare experience, both in a professional nursery setting and as an au pair.
I worked as an assistant nursery teacher for three years, caring for children aged 11 months to 6 years. During this time, I also studied towards a childcare qualification before deciding to pursue a career in management.
I have also spent three years working as an au pair for three different families in London, looking after children ranging from newborns to 9 years old. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking children to and from school, helping with homework, organising activities and following bedtime routines.
My experience with children goes back even further, as I regularly looked after my sister's and cousins' children when I was younger.
Through these experiences, I've become very comfortable caring for children of different ages, understanding their individual needs and adapting to different family routines.
