About Me
Hello! My name is Elena. I am a fully qualified Primary and Early Years Teacher from Madrid with extensive professional experience both in schools and as a private nanny. I am passionate about child development, education, and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
Outside of education, I am a creative and empathetic person. I enjoy painting with watercolors, cycling, spending time in nature, and interior styling/decorating.
Having previously lived and worked as a nanny in Hampstead, London (for over 4 years), I am deeply familiar with the British lifestyle and family dynamics. My goal as an educator and nanny is to support children's emotional and academic growth, making them feel special, secure, and confident while enjoying meaningful and fun learning experiences.
My Experience
I bring a unique combination of formal teaching qualifications and hands-on childcare experience. I hold a Degree in Primary Education and have worked as a primary teacher in well-established schools in Madrid (such as Mater Salvatoris and Schoenstatt), teaching children from 3 to 12 years old.
In addition to my classroom experience, I worked as a full-time Nanny in Hampstead, London, for 4.5 years (2016–2020), caring for children aged 0 to 6. In this role, I managed daily routines, meal planning, developmental activities (including swimming and music), and school runs.
Because of my background, I love incorporating creative learning, crafts, and reading into our daily routine. I am responsible, adaptable, and deeply committed to children's well-being. I am currently planning our family relocation to the Surrey area (such as Woking/Weybridge) and looking forward to connecting with wonderful local families.

My Availability
As I am finalizing my move from Spain with my husband, I am flexible regarding my specific base in Surrey and happy to settle where I find the right family. I hold pre-settled status, meaning I am fully authorised to live and work in the UK with no visa requirements. Upon arrival, I am fully committed to obtaining a UK DBS check and a Paediatric First Aid course to meet all professional standards.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
