About Me

I have a BA(Hons) Early Year's Education Degree and have a number of years experience working with children. I have experience in the classroom as a training teacher as well as a nanny within a private household. My most recent position was a full time live-in nanny caring for 2 young boys which was a great experience and I treasure the relationships I built in this role. I have always demonstrated skills of a team player due to participating in multiple team sports from a young age, through to my adult life by working together with parents to communicate and ensure the needs of the children are met. I love the outdoors (especially hiking) and animals, having grown up being able to ride horses and take care of my own pets such as guinea pigs and cats. My passion for childcare stems from coming from a large family myself, being one of five children and always wanting to care for my younger two siblings. I enjoy seeing the progress children make through education and learning and believe caring for children is very rewarding. I have a great passion for travelling and have travelled to numerous countries in Europe with the hope to see so much more of the world in the future. In my free time, I enjoy reading thriller novels, playing problem-solving games and baking.
