About Me

Hi I’m Lucy

I’m a friendly, reliable and caring childcare professional currently working as a Senior Lifeguard. I’m looking to support families in Manchester with babysitting and childcare.

I have over 10 years of childcare experience, working with children of all ages, with my strongest experience being with babies and children aged 0 to 5. I have worked in nurseries, as a private nanny and have supported families with children with additional needs. I love creating fun, engaging and safe environments for children, whether that’s playing, reading, crafts, outdoor activities or supporting bedtime routines.

Alongside my childcare background, my current role as a Senior Lifeguard has strengthened my skills in safety, responsibility, first aid and staying calm in unexpected situations.

I’m passionate about helping children feel happy, confident and cared for and I would love to support your family?

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of childcare settings.

I started my childcare career working in nurseries, gaining experience caring for babies and young children, supporting development, planning activities and creating safe and nurturing environments. Working my way up to a Senior nursery practitioner.

I have also worked as a private nanny, supporting families with daily routines, play, outings, mealtimes and bedtime routines. I have experience caring for children with additional needs and adapting activities to suit each child.

I currently work as a Senior Lifeguard, where I am responsible for safety, first aid, supervising others and staying calm in emergency situations.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS in update system
FAW (First aid at work)
RLSS Lifeguard
BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma and BTEC National extended Diploma in children's play, learning and development.
