Hi,
I’m Laura and I am fully qualified childcare professional with nearly 20 years experience, mainly as a nanny. I am first aid trained and DBS checked.
I have experience with children aged newborn to 13.
Most recently I was working as a Teaching Assistant in a Surrey primary school. (Year 3)
I have recently had a baby (August 2022) and she will be at home with me. She is (mostly!) a smiley and friendly baby who loves being outside and with other children.
I don’t like to be stuck indoors all the time, I like to get out at least once in the day, this may be to go to a playgroup or a prebooked class. We may enjoy a day at the farm or exploring the local national trust gardens, the list is endless!
I also love to cook/bake and I run my own company doing just that with kids parties. I used to run afterschool cooking clubs but having my daughter has currently put that on the back burner but my parties are popular.
I also enjoy doing some crafting with children and let them use their imagination with drawing etc.
I am also available for babysitting in the evenings.
I am looking for 3/4 days. I am open to it just being an afterschool position or a full days.

I invited Laura to come meet myself and my husband at our home this evening and she did not turn up and did not have the courtesy to even let us know she would not be coming or has even bothered to apologise.

I did in fact give plenty of notice that i wouldn't be able attend the interview as I had been sent home early for being ill and recieved no response for yourself.
