About Me

Based in a lovely family home just outside the village of Aston Abbotts (15 mins drive to each of Leighton Buzzard and Aylesbury), we are a young friendly family with two parents who are professionals and a 3.5 year old son and 9 month old daughter. We are looking for a part-time nanny from early August (July or Sept start date would also work) who will take over from our full time nanny on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons until we are home from work. We are looking for someone who can help us for 9 hours a week.

We are looking for a part time nanny to work 4.20pm - 7.20pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 3.20pm - 6.20pm on Fridays.

Duties will include taking over from our full time nanny; feeding the children dinner (which will have been prepared, so no preparation required, only cooking/heating); bathing the children and playing with the children.

We are looking for an individual who:

1. Is caring, reliable, trustworthy and loves looking after children
2. Is a childcare professional who has NVQ in childcare (NVQ 2 minimum, ideally NVQ 3) or equivalent
3. Has experience of looking after young children and who can provide good references
4. Has a current DBS
5. Has a current paediatric first aid qualification
6. Has a drivers licence (driving the children is not required, but a car is needed to access our house)
7. Is a non-smoker
8. Speaks excellent English and has good communication skills
9. Is enthusiastic and has initiative
