About Me

Hi!

I’m a caring, reliable and experienced professional with a background in midwifery. I’m an NHS registered midwife with a First Class Honours degree in Midwifery, bringing a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in caring for babies, newborns and children, alongside a strong understanding of their development, wellbeing and individual needs.

I have plenty of experience caring for children of different ages and have also worked for the local authority supporting children in care, giving me valuable experience in providing consistent, nurturing and individualised care to children with a range of needs and backgrounds.

I’m currently looking for a full-time or regular part-time childcare position with a family where I can build a strong, trusting relationship with both parents and children.

I am fully DBS checked, hold a full and clean UK driving licence, and have Level 3 Safeguarding and Child Protection training, Paediatric First Aid and Life Support, as well as Neonatal Life Support qualifications. Safety and wellbeing are always at the heart of my care, and parents can feel reassured knowing their children are in experienced, capable and responsible hands.

I’m patient, warm and approachable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each child as an individual. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment where children feel confident to learn, play and grow.

I can also support families with newborn care, sleep routines, healthy routines and day-to-day childcare, helping to make family life that little bit easier. My midwifery background means I’m particularly confident with babies and newborns, while my wider childcare experience means I’m equally comfortable caring for older children.

I’m dependable, organised and understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust in your home. My experience in midwifery and working with children in care has taught me to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively and respond confidently to different situations and individual needs.
