Reliable Babysitter Needed for Occasional Saturday Evenings & Overnight Stays – Bridgend

Hi there! We are a friendly family living in the Bridgend area looking for a kind, reliable, and trustworthy babysitter for occasional Saturday evenings.

This position will eventually include the odd overnight stay, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable staying over.

Important Note on Settling In:
To ensure our children feel entirely safe and comfortable, it is essential that the first few bookings are just for a few hours in the evening. We want to build up trust and familiarity gradually before transitioning to any later finishes or overnight stays.

We have no pets, and we have two wonderful children: a 5-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy.

They are energetic, creative, and thrive on structure. We have a strict bedtime routine with lights out at 8:30pm precisely, so we need a sitter who is confident maintaining clear boundaries and keeping their evening schedule consistent.

What we are looking for:
• Someone local to Bridgend with their own reliable transport.
• Experienced with young children and confident managing a structured bedtime routine.
• Happy to start with short, 2–3 hour settling-in sessions, with a view to doing longer evening and eventual overnight stays.
• Fully vetted with an Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid qualifications.
