My Experience

I have a lot of experience working with infants and toddlers, and I also spent three years babysitting a three-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach.

Babysitting within family - I look after my niece occasionally ever since she was born. I usually have her on the weekends. When she was newborn i used to change diapers, feed her, bathe her and keep her entertained during the day. Now that she’s a bit bigger, i take her swimming/cinema/trampoline park, i cook for her, put her to bed and rarely pick her up or take her to school.

Babysitting outside of family - It’s occasionally when the parents are at work and need help looking after their son but it’s been about 4 years now. I usually spend more than 9+ hours with him when he is at home on the weekends, during the weekday I take him to preschool and pick him up and when we get home I give his milk and put him to sleep for an hour. As he is autistic, when I get him during the weekend, I try and teach him basic words and chores to help him in his day-to-day life as he is non-verbal.

Teaching assistant - I did a 2 weeks work experience because of my school, I had to look after a group of children more than 10. And I did 1-2-1 reading with kids, helped with their classwork, supervised them during playtime and when we went on trips.

My Qualifications

I just graduated from London South Bank University studying Law. I also completed a access to higher education in Law before going to university.

My Availability

Every week day and the occasional weekend when needed.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

£16 Ph Normal rate
£18 Ph Night rate
£20 Ph special holiday
