About Me
My name is Dawn,and I am a registered childminder in Greenhithe. I am married and have a 15 year old son who attends senior school
I offer a home from home childcare setting where my main aim is to offer a friendly,happy,safe and secure environment where every child is made to feel welcomed and respected. I am a kind and caring person with lots of patience and will treat every child as an individual.
I am registered with ofsted and a member of the NCMA. I have certificates in FIRST AID and I have NCMA public liability insurance, I have also been CRB checked. At my last ofsted inspection I was graded good.
I have an assortment of toys, arts and crafts to encourage imaginative and creative play. For outdoor activities I provide a number of safe toys and fun outings to a nearby park area. I believe that every child should be creative and independent through learning while being stimulated through exciting play. I am a strong believer in positive recognition and I will praise every child in all that they do.
I have a garden which is fully enclosed for extra peace of mind for parents and the local park is on a route away from busy roads.

My Experience
I worked as a private children's nanny for 17 years and have my NNEB qualification. The youngest child I have cared for was 3 months old and my oldest child I cared for was 11 years old so I have a wealth of experience with a range of ages. I have been childminding for 11 years.

We have been using Dawn for the last 4 yrs and the best reference I can give is that our kids love going. There is so much for them to, all so varied and educational.
Dawn has also been v supportive and flexible in tough times for our family and you can never ask for more than that.

We keep pinching ourselves that we found Dawn!
Oliver was previously as a nursery which was fine, but the moment we met Dawn we knew we had made the right decision in moving him!
His speech and social skills have come on leaps and bounds. I feel so safe knowing that he is with Dawn, I can just get on with my day.
We honestly feel like Dawn is part of the family! Even our friends and family know how special she is.
I always feel like Oliver’s care is number one priority! We get loads of photos and updates throughout the day too, which I love. It’s also very clear to see that Oliver has the best time. Always very quick to say goodbye to me in the morning and he can’t close the door quick enough!
