About Me
** Space available for September 2026**
Hi there!
I’m a passionate and dedicated registered childminder committed to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing "home away from home" for your little ones.
I believe that early childhood is a magical time for discovery. My setting is designed to be a warm, supportive space where children can grow, learn, and—most importantly—have fun! I am incredibly proud to share that I have recently attained a 'Strong Standard' in all areas in my latest Ofsted report, giving you total peace of mind that your child is receiving the highest quality of care.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I tailor my days to follow the unique interests and passions of the children in my care. Whether they are obsessed with dinosaurs, space, baking, or bug-hunting, I use their current interests as a launchpad for learning and exploration.
Here is a glimpse of what I focus on in my setting:
Adventure & Outings: We love getting out into the local community! From trips to the park and nature walks to library visits and playgroups, your child will experience plenty of fresh air and real-world learning. We also embark on bigger adventures to the SeaLife Centre, Batsford Arboretum, Blenheim Palace, into Oxford, etc.
Emotional Intelligence & Resilience: Beyond academic basics, I place a huge emphasis on helping children understand their big feelings, build self-confidence, and develop the resilience they need to tackle new challenges with a smile.
Individualized Care: Every child develops at their own pace. I observe, listen, and adapt my environment to meet the specific physical, emotional, and developmental needs of your child.
My Experience
For ten years I have been working with children and young people with disabilities, initially in a short stay service, and then in a young lady’s own home. The disabilities range from Autism to complex Cerebral Palsy. I have throughly enjoyed these roles, working with families and professionals alike, but now have the ability to care for children in my own home, as well as caring for my own children.
My Qualifications
