About Me
I am a 25 year old female who has been in childcare for over 9 years now.
I have plenty of experience in a creche setting and recently just finished working as a live out Nanny with my family I’ve been with for the past three years.
I consider myself very imaginative and active person so sitting around all day doesn't interest me and I think that is why I have such a love for working with children as youre always kept on your toes. I enjoy activities such as: Baking, Story time, Imaginative/free play and all outdoor activities.
I have also qualified in childrens coaching and I believe bringing new activities and outdoor games is essential in order for their development, fine motor skills, focus and of course to boost their confidence.
I would consider myself a very big animal lover from a young age I grew up with Horses, dogs, cats and even a donkey.
I am a very enthusiastic person and I mirror this through my work. I believe it is so important to always remain enthusiastic around young children as they begin to mirror what happens around them from a very early age.
My Experience
Meet the emotional and physical safety of the children in my care - including comforting/ talking to them when they feel upset, listening to what they have to say and most importantly resolving the situation.
Whilst in my care I administer a standard of in loco parentis ensuring that all children in my care are not in any physical danger.
Both aid and encourage them with a tasks they were struggling with.
Arrange an array of events from arts and crafts projects to sports activities. I found great joy in organising activities for the kids as I loved to see how each individual child interacted with the activity at hand – how each child is completely different when it comes to development of the brain and how one individual child may have a completely different outcome on how to complete a task than the child sitting next to he/she
Encourage their development and growth in many different learning situations e.g. sing songs, counting, learning colours/numbers and outdoor activities.
