About Me
We are a family of four living in Forest Town, consisting of my husband who is a Civil Servant and myself a TA in a primary school. We have an 8 year old son who loves football, gaming, animals and music, and a near 3 year old daughter who loves dancing, colouring, animals and being outdoors. We also have a 6 year old dog who the kids adore.
We enjoy spending time together as a family, going to parks and days out to Wheelgates, White Post Farm, Vicar's Water etc. We also enjoy going to watch our son play football and our daughter attend dance lessons every weekend, trying new things and foods, and have a pretty good sense of humour, albeit with a hint of sarcasm.
My Requirements
Our daughter often struggles with change, so seeking a new childminder along with starting Nursery, is a little bit daunting as she has adored her current childminder (who is unfortunately unable to drop off and pick up from nursery).
The right person needs to be experienced, kind, patient, has a good sense of humour and always works with integrity. They must also be able to care for our daughter in January 2026 Monday to Friday during term time only.
Pending confirmation of whether she will receive a 15 or 30 hours placement, we are hoping one of the following options can happen:
1) 30 hour placement:
You will be able to receive our daughter around 7:40am and drop her off at Forest Town Primary for 8:35am and pick up at 3:15pm up until 4:30pm - roughly 2 hours each day.
2) 15 hour placement:
You will be able to receive our daughter around at 7:40am and will be dropping her off at Forest Town Primary for the morning session at 8:35am, before picking her up at 11:40am and she will remain within your care up until 4:30pm
OR
Receive our daughter at 7:40am and care for her until drop off at Forest Town Primary for the afternoon session for 12:15pm, before picking her up at 3:15pm, and she will remain in your care up until 4:30pm.
3) If she is unable to receive a placement at Forest Town Primary, we would then be looking to secure an all day place with you, Monday to Friday from 7:40am until 4:30pm.
We apologise nothing is definitively set in stone as of yet, and appreciate you will need to plan and book other children in, but we are trying to get a draft plan in place ready for January. Once we have had confirmation in this upcoming term, we assure you, you will be informed immediately ?
