About Me

My name is Karman. I was born and brought up in West London. I speak English as my first language and Cantonese as my second. I am working as an after school nanny. I am happy to help the children with their schoolwork and reading. I am looking to do some tutoring in English at the weekend.

My Experience

I have previously volunteered at a local nursery and I helped look after children aged between 3-5 years old. I used to help with the childminding of my younger cousin when he was aged 5. While I was working at the Kumon centre I helped the younger children with their reading, comprehension and maths.

My Qualifications

I have completed 3 A levels in Business Studies, History and Art and Design. I studied Cantonese to GCSE level and I am currently learning German. I have previously studied a Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People and I have a paediatric first aid certificate.

My Availability

I am interested in helping Primary school aged children with their English reading, writing and spelling. As I speak Cantonese and English I am interested in helping children who speak English as their second language. I work as an after school nanny during the week so I am available for tuition on Saturday and Sunday mornings for 1 hour.
