About Me
I'm a 22 year old University student at Keele University. I will be on a leave of absence until September, and then I will be doing my final year of studies. Before uni I loved babysitting and looked after around 10 different children, ranging from babies to early teens. I'm not afraid to get stuck in and run around with kids, as it's fun for both me and them. I'd love to get back into it as I miss the enthusiasm and fun that kids possess.
My Experience
From the ages of 15-19 I became a regular babysitter for around 5 families, who all had multiple children. These children ranged from 1-13 so I've had a good range of experience looking after and interacting with all ages. The families I worked for all loved how involved I was, and my ability to be fun but also able to set firm boundaries (I know how difficult bedtimes can get!). Aside from 4 years of almost weekly babysitting, I've been a volunteer teaching assistant in multiple primary schools. Although this was mostly KS1, I also did a little with Year 6's. This entailed anything from leading regular reading assessments to playtime supervision.
My Qualifications
I have a current, basic first aid training certificate but have done a more in depth one which although is expired, has given me some insight into the more complicated issues that can occur.
