About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder, based in Feltham. I really appreciate your time in considering me as a potential child care provider for your little one/s. I welcome parents to be involved as much as you want to be. I will share with you, how all of your child’s time is spent with me and all their learning milestones as they develop. You are also welcome to call me at any time throughout the day to find out how your child is doing. I What’s app photos / videos and updates all day long (if given permission to do so).

I live with my husband, 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son. Also our dog and Guinea pig.

My setting: I have adequate indoor space with toys suitable for all children as well as a large private, secure rear garden. I am also very lucky that Feltham town has many local amenities including, several parks, shops, large green areas, soft plays and children’s centres, even a farm. I am a 10 minute drive to wonderful Bushy park and also a 20 minute walk to Feltham train station which opens us up to many more places to explore.

I keep children busy with lots of indoor & outdoor activities, regular playgroup sessions, parks & outings.

I do school drop offs & pick ups from Buckingham Primary School, in Hampton.

My Experience

I have always loved being around children from a young age and started helping out caring for children at a young age of 12, so not only have I had lots of experience, it hopefully proves that caring for children is something I really love doing.
I worked in a nursery for 9 years straight from college, working my way up from Nursery Nurse to Room Leader and then to Quality/Deputy Manager. The nursery closed down and I changed my career to a nanny, which I did for 5 years.
I always remember the feeling I had during this change, I loved that as a Nanny, I didn’t have such a “strict” routine and if a child wanted a cuddle or to read a book, I didn’t have to stop to move to the next activity like we used to at nursery. The ability to go on many outings/playgroups and days out to the park. I saw children explore at their best.
I then became a mummy which has given me even more experience in so many different ways and slowly my house has become one big play area. I now see the enjoyment the children I care for get from coming to my house, having different toys from their own homes and I have enjoyed setting up messy activities (which most parents are not so keen to do in their homes) and the best bit, is moving swiftly on to the next activity as I have the choice to just put everything up high out the way & clean them at the end of the day – giving me more play time with the children. So with my last Nanning job I currently held, coming to an end of contract, I decided it was now time to do childminding and spend even more time playing.
I also run my own parent and toddler group in Hanworth, 2 mornings a week, called Mini Stars.
