About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over six years experience and experience working within special needs schools. Before teaching, I was a carer for children with special educational needs in the community.
My Experience
I was a teaching assistant for 2 years within special needs schools whilst completing my a levels. I was an activity support worker for 2 years in the community with children with special needs whilst training to be a primary school teacher. This consisted of taking children to swimming lessons, beavers and supporting with care after school. I have been a primary school teacher in a mainstream school for the past six years. Currently, I am a special educational needs coordinator. I am trained in school based assessments, planning children’s specialist provision and supporting education health care plans.
My Qualifications
I am a deputy safeguarding lead currently at my school alongside being a special educational needs coordinator. I have a bachelor of education in primary education with QTS.
My Availability
I am available for after school tutoring, holiday support and possible weekends.
