Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m 22 and currently studying Children’s Nursing at UWE here in Bristol. I’m originally from South Africa and have always loved spending time with children – whether that’s helping with homework, doing fun activities or making sure they feel safe and supported.
I have a full driving licence and my own car, so I can help with school or nursery pick-ups and drop-offs. I’m also more than happy to support with tutoring if your child needs a hand with their learning.
I really enjoy creating a fun and stimulating environment for children – from arts and crafts to reading stories, playing games, or exploring outside. I’m also an animal lover, so I’m just as happy looking after pets too!

My Experience
I have two years’ experience as a children’s church leader, where I supported children with activities such as drawing, reading, outdoor games, and offering comfort when they needed reassurance. I also spent a week on outreach in the Transkei, South Africa, where I visited orphanages and postpartum hospitals – handing out care packages to new mums, helping orphaned children with schoolwork and play, and being a supportive companion to them.
Alongside this, I have babysitting experience which has included preparing meals, bedtime routines, and helping with school projects. I’ve also grown up surrounded by babies and young children in my family, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience caring for little ones from an early age. I also have experience as a teaching assistant supporting children with SEND needs, including 1:1 roles and group work.
In addition to childcare, I have pet-sitting experience and I volunteer in an animal shelter. I absolutely love animals, so I’m always happy to help with family pets too.
My Qualifications

Full UK driving licence and own car.

My Availability
I am available on Fridays for after-school pickups, as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
