About Me
I recently finished Godalming College studying Health and social Care, Photography and Textiles. My passion since I was very little was always to look after children after being bought up with other children who my mother would childminder at our house. She became a nanny and in the holidays, I came with her to see what it was like and I loved every moment of it. My older sister became an au pair a couple of years ago, and since I am more of a hme bird, I am wanting to become a nanny in England. My Auntie is also a principle of a Montessori so childcare really does run in the family! I am trying to gain even more experience with children before coming a full time nanny. I have experience with childcare working as a babysitter, a nursery assistant, a soft play assistant and breakfast club/holiday club assistant at Koosa Kids. I have also received a cleared enhanced DBS check and took part in a safeguarding course.
My Experience
I have experience with childcare working as a babysitter, a nursery assistant, a soft play assistant and breakfast club/holiday club assistant at Koosa Kids. The ages I have cared for definitely is varied. Starting with babysitting 12 year old children to working in a nursery full of babies aged 6 months to 2 years old. I currently work at Koosa Kids in Weybridge as a breakfast assistant full of children aged between 4 and 7 years. Along side that, I am working at a soft play centre in Haslemere and again, children of all ages come in and I help and assist them when needed.
I have experience in:
Help putting the babies to bed for their naps.
Bottle feeding.
Making breakfast.
Setting up activities.
Playing with the children.
Reading to children.
...and many more.
My Qualifications
I have a number of qualifications including seven GCSEs (which do include Maths, English and Science). I also have three a-levels which include Photography, Textiles and Health and Social Care. Health and Social Care was my favourite subject at college because I much enjoyed learning about the development in children focusing on the theorists Piaget and many more.
My Availability
I am available most weekends and evenings; however, (with family events etc) the longer the notice the better so I can cancel plans I already have would be much appreciated also so I have time to find care for my puppy.
