About Me
Hi my name is Leah. I am 26 years old. I have looked after children since I was 14, starting out as babysitting jobs. I’m now fully qualified and hold a BA hons degree in child development. I worked at a preschool as a room lead teacher for 8 years. However I really wanted to embark on a new adventure this year. Therefore I have decided to become a nanny, I am currently working as temporary nanny over the summer which is part sole charge and part mothers help for 3 children. I have absolutely loved exploring new places and experiences with the children and working much more closely with a smaller amount of children so I can give them all my attention, care and love. My favourite activities are definitely any messy play, crafts and being outdoors exploring new places.
My Experience
Babysitting since I was 14 years olds with family, friends and had a babysitting job.
Worked in a preschool since I was 17 and have worked my way up from being an apprentice to now having a BA hons degree in childcare. I am a room lead teacher, I have experience working in a baby room, the toddler room and the preschool room. I also have experience working in a school with children aged 6-11. Not only this i was also on the leadership team, a deputy safeguarding lead and the English as an additional language leader.
I’m currently working as a temporary summer nanny for 3 children aged 6 months, 3 years old and 6 years old. This is part sole charge and part mothers help.
My Qualifications
Bachelor honours degree in childcare (level 6)
Level 3 in health and social care
First aid trained
Safeguarding lead trained
My Availability
I currently work as a temporary summer nanny Tuesday to Thursday till the 3rd September. I am available on Mondays and Fridays and after the 3rd September I will be available Monday to Friday.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Can discuss this depending on how many children, what hours and when.
