My Experience

I have over 5 years’ experience as a maternity nurse, plus many years working with children and families both professionally and personally. My background includes childcare, early years education, and specialist postnatal care. I have supported families with newborns, infants, and young children -helping to establish feeding and sleep routines, provide practical guidance, and offer emotional reassurance during the postnatal period.

I have worked with babies from birth onwards, supporting parents with settling techniques, feeding choices (breast and bottle), safe sleep, and general newborn care. I am confident in creating a calm, nurturing environment that helps both baby and parents thrive.

In addition to my professional experience, I have gained extra hands-on childcare experience in nursery school settings, including during the pandemic, which complements my maternity nursing expertise.

I am also a mum, step-mum and a grandmother, which gives me a personal understanding of the realities of family life and the challenges of adjusting to a new baby.

I combine my hands-on experience with a caring, supportive approach to ensure each family receives the care and guidance they need.

My Availability

I offer flexible availability for day or night (live-in or out) maternity nursing support. I am happy to discuss individual family needs and tailor my availability accordingly.

Availability is updated regularly- early enquiries are encouraged.

My Fees

• Maternity Nursing from £23.00 per hour (gross)
