About Me
I am a 59 year old retired teacher, seeking part-time childcare work. I have been doing some supply teachimg, as took early retirement at 56. I would now like to move away from doing that, but still want to work with children. I don't want to do tutoring, so this seems ideal. I love spending time with children. I am calm and nurturing. I enjoy art related crafts and have started sewing since I retired. I am a keen reader and a member of a book group. I love to get outside, whether it's in the garden, for a walk or to the beach etc! I love spending time with my family and 1 year old grand daughter too. I am trustworthy and reliable.
My Experience
I am a retired teacher. I have worked with children from nursery upwards. I have most experience with early years. I can care for all aspects of the child and nurture them. I am also granny to a 1 year old, so have recent experience with very young children.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified primary teacher. (I have had a recent pvg disclosure Scotland update)
My Availability
Part-time and flexible. Happy to do babysitting on an occasional basis too.
