Current role and responsibilities:

I currently work for a family in Clapham where I have sole charge responsibility for a 6-month old baby (having started the role when he was 4 months old). The family also have a 3-year old toddler who I also look after when not at nursery.

My responsibilities include
- Implementing baby’s feeding and nap routine, including cleaning and sterilising bottles, changing nappies and bathing
- Supporting to reach developmental milestones such as sitting, rolling and interacting
- Doing the children’s laundry
- Weaning
o Introducing different tastes first in puree form
o Progressing on the weaning journey cooking healthy meals
o Introducing allergens
o Batch cooking

- Arranging and taking the baby out to playdates, the park and to baby classes

My Qualifications

London School of Childcare Studies Paediatric First Aid (June 2023) – 12 hour OFSTED compliant course

Course content: Role and responsibilities of paediatric first aider, Incident and casualty assessment, CPR, Unconscious casualty, Recovery position, Management of a seizure, Choking, Anaphylaxis, Shock, External bleeding

Available for a full -time role from middle of September 2024. Looking for around 40 a 45 hours a week .
