About Me
Hi, I’m Marley, the founder of MJ Childcare. I’m a friendly, reliable and passionate childcare professional based in Leicester, offering babysitting and nannying services to local families.
I genuinely love working with children and creating a safe, fun and positive environment where they can feel comfortable and confident. I enjoy getting children involved in activities such as baking, arts and crafts, games, outdoor trips and age-appropriate activities.
I understand that every child and family is different, so I always take the time to understand each child’s individual personality, routine and needs. I’m also happy to work with children with SEND and adapt activities and routines to suit them.
My aim is to provide parents with reliable, trustworthy childcare that they can feel confident coming back to.
My Experience
I have over 6 years of childcare experience, including caring for children outside of my own family.
My experience includes:
* Babysitting children aged 3–16
* Nannying and regular childcare
* Working as an au pair in the UK and abroad
* Looking after multiple children at once
* School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
* Homework and reading support
* Preparing meals and snacks
* Bath and bedtime routines
* Children’s activities, including baking, arts & crafts and outdoor play
* Supporting children with SEND, autism and ADHD
* Overnight and extended childcare
I have experience caring for children with different personalities, ages and needs, and I’m confident adapting my approach to each child.
My Qualifications
* Level 3 In-Home Childcare / Nanny Route — currently completing
*Level 2 pass health and social care
* Autism Awareness training
* Enhanced DBS checked
* Public Liability Insured
* References available on request
My Availability
For October My Availability is
Fridays | Saturdays | Sundays | all day
From November I can take on roles during the week
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.50 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £13.50 per hour

Marley is absolutely lovely, she was really pleasant and the kids absolutely loved her, she dealt with my son with adhd and autism extremely well with patience and understanding and she took care of all the dishes and things which she didn't have to do but was very much appreciated and the kids can't wait to have her back
