About Me

Hi, I’m Katie, 22, from Suffolk. I’ve been working in early years since 2020 and love supporting children as they grow and develop.

I’m bubbly, caring, and hands-on, and enjoy getting involved in play, creative activities, and making learning fun. I’m now really interested in nannying, as I’d love to work closely with a family and create a safe, happy environment for children to thrive.

My Experience

I have been working in childcare for the past six years, gaining experience with children from birth up to 7 years old. This has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of different stages of development and how to support each child’s individual needs. I am currently working in a preschool, where I continue to build my skills and create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for the children in my care.

My Qualifications

- Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
- Level 3 Certificate in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
- Level 2 Certificate in Children’s Mental Health
- Paediatric First Aid Trained
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene

These qualifications have given me a strong knowledge of child development, inclusive practice, and how to support children’s emotional wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.

My Availability

I currently work four days a week between 8am and 5pm, so I’m available in the evenings, weekends, and on my day off.
