About Me

My name is Sophie Scott, and I am a Care Inspectorate Registered Childminder and have been for almost 2 years. I am 27 years old; I live with my Husband, Andrew Scott, our 9-year-old son Calvin and our 4-year-old daughter Olivia. I live in the Maidencraig/Sheddocksley area of Aberdeen in a semi-detached house, with an enclosed back garden. I cover Fernielea Primary School for drop off and pick up. I hold a PVG, my husband has his own PVG as he is a coach for our son's football team, and he also has a PVG specifically for my childminding business. I am paediatric first aid trained and have undergone all training required.

Having been a parent for over 9 years I have a good understanding of children. I have been a childminder for coming up to 2 years now and love my job.

My Qualifications

I am a Care Inspectorate Registered Childminder, with paediatric first aid training. I stay up to date with all training required like food safety and child protection. I am in the process of getting registered for ELC also.
