Caring childminder

Our son was with Dessy for 2 years from the age of 2-4 until he left to start school. He really enjoyed his time at the setting and he was very sad to leave, he made some great friends and we gained a strong bond with Dessy and the other parents.

We would highly recommend Dessy (including her colleague Chloe & Anna) as they have set up a great environment at Dessy’s house for the children. She has a lovely spacious garden with an amazing outdoor kitchen for them to use along with other fun apparatus and the main learning area inside is full of toys, books and learning information for the children to use and play with. We preferred a childminder over nursery as they would regularly take them out on adventures with visits to the Zoo, playgrounds, into the forest, local playgroups, water parks in the summer and much more which really suited our son as he has lots of energy where as nursery he was just in the same room!

She has been instrumental in the development of our son, from helping with his language, numbers and letters which has prepared him well for school, she also assisted with his toilet training and improved his social skills.

Dessy is very kind, caring and generous, she really looks after the children and makes them feel part of her family as she did with the parents. She would organise gatherings so we could all come together such as Christmas parties and drinks in the summer, she also organised a lovely graduation before our son left for school.
