My Experience

I have learnt so about myself and my skills within childcare from my current job, I have realised I’m passionate about helping raise children in a safe and nurturing environment
while creating fun and engaging activities to support their development. I believe in building strong, positive relationships with both children and parents to ensure their needs are met and their routines are respected at all times. I truly understand the benefit of having your personal childcare taken seriously and meaningfully as it is one of, if not the most important, chapters of a child and parents life.

Skills
* Child Development: I have a wide knowledge of developmental milestones for different age groups, having nannied newborn children to children of up to 11 years old. My mother is a SENCO and has taught for 30 years which has enhanced my understanding of children’s development and support systems.
* Organizational Skills: I work with a high level of organisation, managing household tasks, routines, and schedules of different parents, children and pet care.
* Positive Discipline: I have effectively implemented discipline strategies while maintaining a loving and supportive atmosphere at all times. I am well respected and loved by both the children and the families I have nannied for.
* Cooking & Meal Prep: I have prepared healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's tastes and dietary restrictions from newborn to age 2.5 years solidly, whilst also having experiences with preparing food for older children too.
* Pet Care: I have 2.5 years of experience caring for a family dog, including walking and feeding alongside childcare.

Specialisations
* Newborn Care: I was with my current family throughout the entirety of their pregnancy of their second child, looking after their first child overnight whilst they were in hospital for the birth. I was the first person to meet their baby and have looked after her for 15 months, therefore am experienced in caring for infants and following strict routines for feeding, napping, and sleep training.
* Overnight: I have been trusted with multiple overnight stays a month in the families house, in my first year looking after one child and in my second looking after two with the addition of the family pet dog. Keeping a solid routine for them during this time their parents were away.
* Household Management: I am experience in light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing children's spaces.
* Dance Teaching: I have taught dance for 10 years, from ages 3 to 15, specialising in baby ballet.

My Availability

I am looking for a full time position of nanny with the option of some personal assistant work if needed, Monday to Friday.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

Negotiable per family & amount of children.
