About Me
Hi my name is Martina and I’m originally from Sweden. *I got 2 early years spaces available from January 1*
I’m a childminder and run a home nursery. I live here with my partner Winston and our 16 month old daughter Kiana.
I want my nursery to feel like a home-away-from-home where your child can feel safe and seen
I have two cuddly cats Esther and Loki.
I provide home cooked, nutritious meals and snacks.
I focus on learning through play, song and movement, eating healthy foods, spending time outdoors and having lots of fun of course!
A home nursery with great communications not far from Wellingborough centre.
Access to a great park only a couple of minutes walk from here with a play park and lots of space to run and play.
I have a big house with lots of floor space, big windows and a great outdoor space where the children can play, explore and grow our own vegetables and flowers.
My Experience
I’m a former nursery assistant and children’s dance teacher. I undertook 1 year of music studies at the Stockholm Music Conservatory and 3 years at the Ballet academy in Gothenburg.
I play both the piano and guitar and I use a lot of my former education in my teaching of children as music and movement is a fantastic teaching tool.
My Qualifications
I work through a childminding agency and have undergone extensive EYFS training with them.
